GG and YTMD status
Hey everyone. Our server is down right now. It's on HostGator's end, not ours. So, we just have to wait until they've fixed the issue. Morgan contacted them already and they said they're working on it. Keep checking back. I'll update you if we find anything else out. Sorry! :(

DeleteI saw that too before it was deleted; said she was sticking up for all the wonderful youtube mommies out there or something, and she collected some praise before it was taken down, as I now see. Said something about a petition and "having connections" and how she turned in emails between her and the main admin. Oddly after she deleted the message, her instagram went on private and Krissy disappeared either right before or after that. Since both were talking about making up some sort of magical petition, I assumed it had to do with them too, though I logically I thought they just reported them for some false claim to their server or something stupid like that. They complain about trolls, but damn they troll the boards obsessively.

ReplyDeleteThe problem with our server is continuing... I'm so sorry about all of the issues. If this problem persists, we are definitely going to find a new server. Please be patient as we ARE doing EVERYTHING that we can from where we stand. I will update as soon as I know something.

When it's not down, it's performing maintenance - I rarely catch it when it's properly working. I really appreciate your effort but it's getting so annoying. :(
ReplyDeleteI agree with anon above, I'm getting super frustrated with GG lately. I wish you guys would post more updates under 'News' as to what on earth is going on. Is cost an issue for a better server? I'd be happy to donate to reach some kind of monthly goal if it results in the forum being usable. :(

ReplyDeleteI decided to changed the email linked to my account and got the message that I needed to activate my account again by clicking a link in an activation email. So, my question... When am I supposed to get this activation email? Because now I don't know if activating doesn't work or if you're supposed to wait for a few hours before getting an email.
I also tried to make a new account to ask in the Help-section but I didn't get an email for that account either. So yeah, I fucked up.
So, is there someone who knows how long it normally takes to get the activation email?
It's 7/3/2014. Yesterday I was gone pretty much alll day long, when I came home it was late and I decided to check gg. The message it displayed was

I logged in because my account was logged out, then I got a forbidden message, I have never done anything ban worthy, afterwards the information page came back up about maintenance changed to "Currently performing upgrades, or maintenance.... Apologies, but You'll be back Gossiping soon! STOP LOGGING IN FOR 24 HOURS OR BE BANNED." I clicked log out because I didn't want it to get banned, then got forbidden again for logging out? The first time logging in it DID NOT say that message initially, so how was I supposed to know it would get me banned for just logging in. I have tried to contact lulu@gurugossiper but to no avail. Is there any other admins or mods emails I can contact to get through to them, because this is ridiculous grounds for a ban on simply the information message not saying that we should log out, since it initially it did not include that part.
I'm getting the same message, I wouldn't worry, they're screwing with the site, I think everything will be back to normal tomorrow...

The Sprout Club is for mentally disturbed hags that hate the success of YouTube channel owners but continually show up in the comments section, saying they hate a particular channel owner. Instead us intelligent people stop watching what they hate. It's not rocket science. Read about the past Guru Gossipers that have come to their senses & realise that spewing hate about successful YouTubers is the biggest waste of time & they suggest you get off your Sprout Club & stop wasting your life.
